Do audience members need an account?
No. They open the listening link shared by the organiser or scan a QR code. The listening URL is public — anyone who knows it can access it. An account is needed to manage the studio.
Can I use OBS?
Yes. The studio provides a caption overlay URL to add as a browser source in OBS. Channel settings let you adjust the appearance of your captions.
What affects caption quality?
The microphone, noise, speech clarity, connection and recognition service configuration all affect quality. Automatic captions and translations may contain errors. Test before the event and add names and terms to the glossary.
